This is the first experiment we are doing in a series of tests to try and build an enclosed mini ecosystem that does the following:
(1) Removes CO2.
(2) Keeps plants alive (e.g., doesn’t overheat)
(3) Doesn’t spread mold.
The idea for this test came from our collaborators at NAU (https://www.cefns.nau.edu/~npm4/) and U of A (https://uathompsonlab.com/diane-thompson/), who pointed out that a tank in the sun in the SW desert would not sustain life!
